Share your memories of TMH
TMH, KTH's Department of Speech, Music and Hearing, has brought together
research, learning, and collaboration since 1951.
Many people have been part of that history:
as students, researchers, visiting scholars, collaborators, colleagues, and friends of the department.
This is a space to share memories and materials from your time with TMH.
You might contribute
a photo from the lab or corridor,
a recording of a talk or demonstration,
a short story,
a document, or
something else connected to the department's history.
The material collected here will become part of
how TMH marks its 75th anniversary in 2026.

How it works
- Register with your name and email address.
- We send you a short verification email.
- Follow the link in that email to reach the contribution form.
- Upload photos, recordings, or documents, or write a short story — in any combination you like.
- You can return and add more at any time.
What you can contribute
There is no single right kind of contribution. Here are some ideas:
- A personal greeting to TMH or to people there.
- A story about how you came to be connected to TMH, however briefly.
- Photos from visits, workshops, seminars, or everyday life in the department.
- Audio or video recordings — a talk, a demo, a conversation.
- Manuscripts, drafts, or original documents (TMH will handle any physical originals you wish to donate).
- Hardware, instruments, or objects connected to your work (TMH will arrange collection of physical items).
- Research artefacts: code, data, slides, posters, or anything else you created.
If you are uncertain whether something is suitable, please register
and describe it in the contribution form — we will be in touch.
How contributions will be used
Material submitted through this site will be used in the context of
the TMH 75 anniversary celebrations,
which take place on 17 August 2026.
Contributions may be displayed at the anniversary event,
included in commemorative materials, or
archived as part of the department's history.
Nothing will be published or displayed without appropriate
acknowledgement of the contributor where desired.
